Grounding Feature Releases Grit And Dirt Held By Static During Finishing
Roll and sheet products often develop static during processing. M.W. Jenkins’ METLKOR Rotary Brushes have been designed to efficiently and effectively remove even microscopic particles of dust and dirt held by static or adhesion to products during the finishing process.
The brush dissipates the static by grounding the charge through the brush filaments and metal brush core to the machinery ground, and the brushing action completes the cleaning of the surface of the product. METLKOR Rotary Brushes have found a wide range of applications in the metal working, food processing, general manufacturing, and industrial fields. Jenkins can also satisfy unique application requirements with custom designed and manufactured versions.
Typical brushes feature 2″ metal cores and are 34″ in length, although a wide range of variations are available. Bristles are a full tuftless pattern of 100% conductive nylon forming a 5″ OD by 32″ brush face. The combination of a perfectly balanced metal core with this highly durable material enhances high speed operation and offers a long service life. Further, the brush can be restored to like-new condition quickly and economically by the factory. Want details? Click here, or contact the Brushworks!
Miniature Cylinder Brushes Pack High Performance Into Ultra Compact Unit
Jenkins’ tiny cylinder brushes represent a high standard in the state of the art of brushmaking, available with diameters as small as 1/2″ with core lengths of 3/8″ to 12″ and larger. They are the some of the smallest cylinder brushes on the market today that feature a unique rigid metallic core. Applications are wide ranging, including critical component cleaning in the computer, electronics, instrument, and medical manufacturing industries. A range of variations in the brushes design are available. Jenkins can assist in configuring the brush to your exact application requirements.
Fill can be of any variety of high quality synthetics, conductive nylon, wire, or natural bristle. Jenkins Miniature Cylinder Brushes can be manufactured with cores of aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and other materials. Maximum brushing power, long life, peak perfor mance, and perfect balance are assured by the maker. Want details? Click here, or contact the Brushworks!
Brushes Developed For Glass, Smooth-surface Washing, Cleaning
Jenkins’ built-in dynamic balance affords smooth, vibration-free operation, true running, and even brushing action over the entire surface. Special tuft pattern provides optimum performance, moderate cost and extra long life.
When the Nylon bristles finally wear, the cores can be rebristled same as new, quickly and easily by the factory. Diameters from 1″to over 12″, can handle glass sheets from 1″ to over 132″ wide.
