Conveyor Cleaning – Jenkins Brushes are used to clean many different materials from various conveyor belts in many food applications. Brushes are used to clean oven bands, cooling racks, transfer belts and feeding belts. These brushes are filled with stainless steel wire, or FDA approved nylon in various colors depending on your needs.
Level – Brushes are used to level product on belts and bands. When product is bulk fed or orientated in many directions Jenkins Brushes are used to level or align your food products.
Transfer – Jenkins Brushes are used to transfer material from one belt to another. Brushes are also used to sweep product or fill spaces to transfer from one belt to another. Apply – Jenkins Brushes are used to apply material in many different food applications. Brushes are used to apply flour, sugar, or other materials onto food products. Jenkins Brushes are also used to apply release agent to many different oven bands or cooling racks to alleviate sticking of your product to the belt or band.
Bread Pan – Brushes are also used to clean brad pans and molds for different products. For cleaning these cavities (2) counter rotating brushes are used. One brush will clean the leading edge and the other to clean the trailing edge. Nylon filaments in various FDA approved colors both regular and metal detectable nylon are used for this application. The trim length is important, is should be twice the depth of the cavity. This way it will be able to pass from one cavity to the other and still clean the bottom of the cavity.
Mesh Belt Cleaning – Mesh belts made with metal or various other materials are cleaned with wire or with synthetic filaments. Brushes will not clean all the way thru the belts. Best results are obtained by placing one brush on top of the belt and one below.
Oven Belts – Oven belts or bands are usually cleaned with stainless steel wire filaments. This allows for cleaning of the bands before it cools completely down. This allows for continued use of your oven band and eliminates having down time for your band to be cleaned.
Packaging – Brushes are also used in the packing of your products. They are used to level or feed the product to your packaging machine. Jenkins Brushes are the best for what you need to achieve.
